About Me

I am a freelance proofreader and copyeditor with more than 10 years of experience .

​

 

I hold a BA with a double major in English Literature and Journalism from the American University of Sharjah and an MA in Literary Studies from Durham University. Currently, I am completing a PhD in English at the University of Exeter.

My experience spans both academic and non-academic texts, allowing me to adapt to various assignment requirements. I have worked on projects for undergraduate, masters, and doctoral students across multiple disciplines.​

I am proficient in a number of referencing styles, including APA, MLA, MHRA, Harvard, and Chicago, and I am well-versed in editing and proofreading for print media, including AP Style.

​

My own writing is diverse, with publications on language and journalism, historical trauma and migration, and modernist literature.
